Decided we had too many trees, so chopped one down...

 Took a little while, but by the time Mom got back, it was all done but chopping it up...

Spring 14

Lots of fun toward the end of school...

 The women's group decided to have a crawfish boil and invited several families.... spicy but fun!

 Dad and the big kids chopped down a tree...(while Mom was running around the lakes...)

Always something happening...  The young people are quite creative in having fun, but a recent gift of some "lightly used" toys had them enjoying all kinds of "new" activities...

Fun after the storm

Well, the rain came and went past..
Then the young people went out to see how muddy and wet things were...

 While it was still raining, it was really beautiful if just a little scary to see "the sky is falling..."

 Getting muddy can be fun...  J was pretty clean before the rain...

 but after the rain, they all got into the water and the mud...  no pictures but let's just say everybody got a bath or shower this afternoon...

Posters for school

Lots of fun as school nears and end...

D was working on posters - one for math (area, volume...) and one for social studies (House of Representatives and how a bill becomes a law (or not!)

What is he doing?  Working so hard over by the table...

Mothers are such a blessing...
We are thankful for our mothers and other positive role models...
We were able to enjoy church, dinner with friends and some fun together...
