So there are real pyramids in Egypt
and there are pyramids at Memphis Egypt
So why not pyramids at Memphis TN?
We've been going past this pyramid for years, why not stop in?
What we found was fascinating, not a burial place for kings but a great place to find dead animals and outdoor gear... Bass Pro!
So here is the requisite family photo at Bass Pro, including the bear "attacking" mom...
After we survived that, we continued on to our friends in the A-frame. Some of the most thoughtful, gentle and sustainable people we know. Great hospitality and great scones!
The first night we got to Michigan, J asked "is it getting to be winter again Dad?" Everyone laughed, but 42F is a pretty typical winter temperature in BR! Lots of fun with cousins and they all loved dear Aunt M! Thanks for reading and all the great fun on our visit.
Oma was a great hit. She may have reached her limit on grandkids at some moments, but I think mostly they all enjoyed it. Keep smiling!
After so much fun, it is hard not to just take a nap! The parents walked several miles and the kids ended up sleeping :-)
